M o n d a y George and I have split. Whether temporarily or permanently, I don't know. There isn't much more to say, really. He needed out. I needed in. We were heading in opposing directions. Once a couple has wandered on to roads unprecedented of one another, their roads branch outward, yet both are bound to intertwine once again in the future. Till then, I shall wait in longing.
My priorities are being dismantled day by day. All that ever comes out of my parents' mouths now are insults and threats. I don't know what I want anymore, or more rather who I am. Everything I do is just not good enough for them, for you, or for all who's existent. Why is it that all the bad occurs when you have gone? It makes it even more difficult to tolerate.
I still love you.

It's finally Spring Break: something to keep my mind off of things like this. My mum spent the morning yelling at me about some nonsense, and then offered to take me shopping after. My family is, like, bipolar. I was in one of those half-asleep, "whatever" moods so I agreed, and so my mum, sister, and I were off to the Topanga Mall. I used some of the babysitting money I've been saving up for the past two summers so I could treat myself to whatever I wanted, because I really needed something uplifting..and expensive. I bought some cute halter tops at Charlotte Russe, my absolute favorite clothes store, and later munched down on a cinnamon pretzel. I've really been needing a day of relaxation like this.
W e d n e s d a y I helped my auntie pack all day. I've never been attacked by so much dust in my whole lifetime. I dropped by Amy's (because she lives in the same complex as my aunt does), and the sweet darling gave me Girl Scouts' Thin Mint Cookies (my all-time favorite). I love you, dear.
| Lovin' life.
Things are going wonderfully well. It's been 18 days since the start of the relationship George and I have gotten ourselves in. And what an inpeccable 18 days it's been.
I'd update with more, but I already spent a half hour updating in my Livejournal. For pictures and more blogging, click here.
| This rain is absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is seamlessly romantic, and everything about my weekend has been a cherry on the top of everything good going on. My Friday was spent outside mostly- dancing to the rhythm of the rain. I spent my Saturday indoors, partially finishing up the last of my homework and then talking to my boy. It's been exactly one week. One perfect week. I love you, baby. :] Things couldn't be better. Sunday was spent with my lovely girl, Christina, shopping at the Northridge mall- accompanied with our mums and my crazy sister, Nancy. I love sales. I brought home two large bags filled with pretty clothes, as well did Christina. We then headed towards Costco, where we sat in two patio chairs and talked about... things. It was fun bonding time, that's for sure.
This week is going to pass by so slowly. I get my 8th grade sweatshirts this week. Birmingham High School's Media Center will be filming our Drama play, "Everyman," this Friday for the Josephine Art Institute to broadcast nationwide as an example of the "Character Counts" program. That should be an all-day shoot. We did a two-day long shoot last year filming a play called, "Taking A Stand." Future stars and starlets in this 8th grade drama class, I tell you. Saturday will be my first date with George, as well a grand bar mitzvah celebration for my dear friend, Adam. :] The party's theme is candy. That's right: candy-decorated chairs/tables/etc., pure chocolate drinks, candy houses, candy party favors, sweets galore! Yum. Sunday will be exactly one week before we begin Vietnamese School again. And Monday is the first of our "Horton Hears A Who" runs at school for Drama. Busy week. Excitement.
Happy Birthday, Daki darling. I'm sorry I couldn't make it to your birthday celebration Saturday, but I promise to make it up to you very soon. From what I hear, you had a fabulous time even without me there! Also, a sincere birthday wish goes to Jeff's sister, Samantha. I hope you have/had a wonderful celebration today. You're growing up so fast, girly.
Happy Presidents' Day! Enjoy your three-day weekend. :] Much love to the world<3
| W e d n e s d a y Chinese/Lunar New Year was great! Not only did I have a wonderful and lucky day, but I also got to go to temple with my girls Tiff and Christina in the evening. I'm glad to start off the new year happily.
T h u r s d a y Nailed a lead in the drama play: Horton Hears a Who by the renowned Dr. Suess. Can't wait to go up on stage and perform it.
F r i d a y Marc walked me home after school. Us dare-devils walked approximately five miles from Portola MS to my home in Reseda (according to my father, but I surely doubt it was five miles). Marc lives in a 15 minute-radius from my house and offered to accompany me on my walk home, so I was glad I didn't have to walk in the rain all alone. Oh, and it rained! All smiles here.
S a t u r d a y A very relaxing, and memorable day. Spent most of the day talking on the phone, and watching a movie marathon on TBS Superstation, and Lifetime Network for Women. I haven't watched so much television in months. Everything went just right
S u n d a y Just as great and soothing as Saturday was. Got a couple of early Valentine's Day packages from my penpals Ponks (from Illinois) and Jenny (from Pennsylvania), and heartwarming cards as well! I spent the rest of my night making some last-minute Valentine's Day cards. The outcome of them all was amazing.
M o n d a y Happy Valentine's Day! Everything is going so good. Walked proudly out of the school with six roses, enough chocolate to last me until September, and three stuffed animals. Perfect Valentine's Day<3
Got my SATs scores today; did pretty well in my opinion. 650 out of 800 in Verbal and 600 out of 800 in Math. My parents freaked, but I'm okay with the grades, anyhow. I got my report card as well.

I'm proud of myself. Yay! Have a great remainder of Valentine's Day. Love you baby<3
T u e s d a y Took the NAEP (National Assessment of Educational Progress, or the Nation's Report Card) test this morning from 8:10-11:30am. It was nice because at the end, they let us experiment with a couple science objects AND they let us keep our pencils. I took home two. :P

| T h u r s d a y Mad practicing all day for the evening drama play. How exhausting. My photoshoot [afterschool] went flawlessly. I got to preview a few of the prints, and they turned out great. I should be getting the rest of the prints sometime next week. Can't wait. The evening show was a hit; got a lot of positive feedback, and a couple roses. :] Jeff and his younger sister, Samantha, came to watch it, and we grabbed some food afterward. Walked the boulevard afterward, and chilled out at Starbucks later. It was a good day overall.
F r i d a y Last day of the school semester. Pretty laid back. My science teacher postponed the science test till Wednesday due to Super Bowl Sunday. He's so cool.
S a t u r d a y Went to the Valentine's Day Dance for Key Club. To be honest, it was pretty lame: the DJ sucked. I hardly recognized any songs, but I liked the punch to be on a good note. :] Chilled out with my girls Tiff and Christina most of the time, and spent some time with Nhat, Anna, Jeff, and Tan.
Okay okay, I'll admit it: I stole a rose. So what? I have a strong affinity for roses. I mean it's not half as bad as Tiff stealing a rose AND a glow stick. Oops.. wasn't suppose to reveal that.. :P
S u n d a y Today was as gloomy as the morning weather. :[ Drove down to Santa Ana with the family, and spent most of the time shopping for Lunar New Year's, or as most of us Viets know it as: Tet. I took an unbelievable amount of pictures while shopping at "Phuoc Loc Tho." Funnn. I like it around this time of year: everyone is really chipper, and the Asian culture really has a time to shine. And you can't forget about the overwhelming amount of food. Yummm.
M o n d a y Today was really mellow. Exactly one more week till Valentine's Day. I think I'll be Valentine-less by then, but oh well. I could always go buy myself a balloon, and give myself a garden rose. :P All good.
